Hi Everyone,
I am going to be Sally (Skellington) from the Nightmare Before Christmas for Halloween. I'm making the costume from scratch but I'm having some trouble with the wig. I cannot find a long, red, yarn wig at any of the costume stores. My next option would be to make it myself. Is there an easy way to do this? I should mention that I do not have a sewing machine. I appreciate your help!
this should be easy but seing as you do not have a sewing machein it will be harder and wont look as nice.
1- get string, glue(preferably hot glue), and a old bennie hat
2- cut the bennie so it still fits ur head but cant be seen once you add the yarn.
3- decide the length you want it be; double that; fold in half
4- find center of bennie; this will be the part of the hair( wig)
5- take the center of the yarn where you folded it to and glue the center of the string to the bennie.
6- continue to do this untill the bennie is covered and trim the bennie if there is still any un wanted peices
TADAAAAAAAAA! YOU GOT YOUR SELF A WIG!
NOTE: if it doesnt stay on bobby pin it to your real hair once you have it on
