Thin Yarn
Posted on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 at 5:28 pmI am knitting a child's scarf with the fuzzy/thin type of yarn. What size needles do I use? What size should?
I make the scarf?

Haven't been to the store yet so don't know exact name of yarn.
If it's anything like the fuzzy thin yarn i have...i say a larger needle. I would try a 10. I've even used a 15 or 17 with the 'fun-fur' type yarn.
Try 'carrying' another yarn with it too. That creates a totally different look, and is the same amount of knitting, and makes it warmer. (you just knit with 2 strands of yarn instead of 1)
