Federal reserve bank of chicago currency?

I have this $50 bill and I was wondering if it is real currency. The bill has printed on the left side of grants portrait

"THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF CHICAGO ILLINOIS"
series of 1928
It has the signature of the governor, asst. deputy governor, the register of the tresury (E. E. Jones) and the treasurer of the united states (Woods).

The bill also has the little colored threads throughout the bill, but it of course did not pass the counterfit pen mark becasue it predates that ink. I shal try to attach the photos ive taken.
oops it is a1929 not sure why i typed that wrong

The note should have a green seal to the left of the picture with the number 7 in it and around that it should read, Federal Reserve Bank Chicago Illinois. It sells for $100 in grade fine and $400 in grade extra fine and $800 or more in crisp uncirculated. If you find you read the series wrong and it is 1929 then it could be a brown seal .
