What might be wrong might my LG Ice Blue Chocolate?

My phone has seemed to have a little trouble sending text messages lately. My phone says I have no service unless I'm in on a ladder, or in the air holding it up. And when I woke up this morning there was a pop up that said " Express Network Coverage Unavailable". I really have no clue what happened it was fine one day, and like this the next. My battery also says it's been wet? I'm not sure about that one either. Has anyone had this problem before? I need your help!
