what kind of plant has green leaves with light green stripes anf grows red berrys?

i have had this plant for 17 years. it did not grow very much the first 14 years while in va.but we moved to sc and it tripled in size and the leaves did too in just a few months. it also for the first time grew some red berry looking things. would really like to know what this plant is. its green and the leaves have light green stripes in them.

That is difficult to answer without a pic. Many plants fit that description. I presume it is a houseplant. The Chinese evergreen or Aglaonema is just one plant that could fit that description.These id sites may help you.
