How did it feel when, starting a new business, you made your first sale?

I've always had little side businesses, even as a kid, but am starting a new newspaper and, based on reputation alone, already sold enough advertising to cover most of the initial startup costs. I'm pretty sure that this publication will be a success. (Most of my side businesses were labors of love, but this one may actually create some pocket change!)

While working as a police officer,(many years ago) I built one or two houses a year myself without borrowing money. One of the proudest moments was the sell of that first house. Later when my wife and I open two larger home building companies, it was great when at closing that check in your name was handed to you. Good luck my friend.
