In the North American Rainforest what bad impact do the factories give?

This is for my science project

I need to ask what do the factories do as a bad impact to the North American Rainforest? I need specific answers. 1 paragraph would be more than enough.

I live near the rainforest in Washington State. It's well away from any industry and since it lies quite close to the Pacific coast, any pollution that is produced by the cities and towns near it blows inland and does not affect it. However, there has been a growing problem with pollution coming in from China. I know it seems too far away, but the pollutants that the Chinese coal plants and factories produce get trapped in the upper levels of the atmosphere and then get caught up in frontal systems. These eventually reach Washington and the first place that these fronts let loose their moisture is on the rainforest resulting in the pollution coming down with the rain. While this problem is still small, it is growing quite rapidly as the output of pollutants and greenhouse gases grows in China and other countries close to it.

Hope that helped
