I usually shampoo and condition my everyday, but I thought that maybe if I went just shampoo three times a week or more and conditioning every day to keep it clean, then there would be less frizzy and more manageable. What do you think? Oh, and now my hair is very thick, naturally wavy and curly, even if I use products easily frizz. I'm 15 and I use a heat protection styling cream / serum and foam every day, if that makes a difference.
There is absolutely no need to wash hair every day. Nobody is as dirty. However, if you are very active in sports, or work in an environment very dirty (in a dusty field) I see that you need to do every day. Shower gel or even every day (several times a day?) is a modern American phenomenon. Most other people in the world, and even our Western culture until recently, are not as obsessed with cleanliness! And then we slather with all sorts of products to compensate. This is only meant to make more sales for vendors and not to help you all. Be aware of that. If you find that your hair does not look good after having slept over it, and you can not stop you, then a rinse may be all that is needed. You can also buy really weak and diluted shampoo "for everyday use" if absolutely necessary. But because of all the junk you put in your hair, you are very dirty. Most air conditioners "are oil and wax, which attract more dust to it. Better not to use them. When you're a teenager and your hormones go all crazy, you'll often oily skin and hair. Thus, you can shampoo as often. But once you have installed, it is not necessary. You should shampoo your hair Dirty ... and one day is not enough for most of us to get this dirty! Try going a day between the two, and two days later. See how it feels and looks. You may have to make other changes, such as what you use on your hair, and how you wear it. If you set your hair (Rolls or brushing correctly), you find you can spend a day or two longer, without looking dirty. Try.
