What wedding custom do you like the most in your country? In my country, the best wedding custom for me is "stealing the bride". The persons who steal the bride get a reword (drinks and other crazy thinks: from god father if the stealing occurs before midnight, and from bridegroom if is after midnight).
In Russia, when ever someone at the wedding yells 'gorko'...and guests can yell that whenever and as many times as they want....the newlyweds have to stop doing whatever it is they were doing and start kissing...Then everyone counts seconds of their kiss. At my wedding we got to 35 lol.
In US such make out sessions might be inappropriate, but according to russians it's showing of love and everyone is happy. The longer the kiss, the crazier the crowd/guests go and the louder they count.
And the appropriate gift for a wedding is always money. lol
