Chenille Thick & Quick wool?

Hi there Crafters!

It's listed as a category six super bulky yarn with either 100 yds per skein (solid color) or 75 yds (print). This yarn has been discontinued, so getting more would be unlikely.

You might sneak by with this pattern, which isn't too hard, but I wouldn't call it a good first project since it requires both knits and purls: http://www.myspace.com/handmadebystefanie/blog/512901010 It's a good second project for sure. A nice thing about that pattern is it was created by someone with a blog who is also a member of ravelry, which means she's fairly easy to contact. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bfl-forever-keyhole-scarf She may be able to advise you whether she thinks you have enough yarn for the project. I think you probably do, but she'd have a better idea.

Another option would be to make a square and sew a fabric back to it for a throw pillow cover. If you choose that option, I'd do it in crochet, which would be more accommodating for letting you start with a small square and build it up larger with each round, as opposed to knitting, which would really rather you figure what size you want it to be before you start so you can do it from side-to-side. With the crochet, you could just start going and keep going until you run out of yarn, then that's the size pillow you get.
