I have just bred my first long haired guinea pigs. 3 are Merinos and 1 is a Texel. I am training to be a Judge this year so im breeding for the experience of getting a longhair on the show table in full coat.

They are just 3 weeks old now + yes they are born with hair. Short like others but with in a few days its off and growing. So looking forward to judging . Thank you for your lovely comments.

Aww,they are all gorgeous! I especially love the 1st Merino boar. I love long haired cavies,they are just a lot of work for me,I have had Coronets & Shelties,a fair amount of grooming needed though,so its short coated for me!
