That's where you will find the largest gathering of hand spinners and dyers. When you purchase from a commercial business, there's no telling whether their handspun really is spun by hand, or whether it's just a chunky style of yarn called handspun or homespun or something else to make it sound homey. When you purchase direct from the spinner, you cut out the middle man, and you are assured what you are getting is what you intended to get.
