If a problem tan (theta) = 4, find a. tan (- theta) b. tan (theta + pi) c. tan (pi - theta) d. cot (pi / 2 - theta) Problem 2 The terminal radius for the angle theta is in the second quadrant. What are the rays following quadrants? a. neg theta b. theta + pi c. pi - theta d. pi / 2 - theta Problem 3 The terminal radius for the angle theta is in the third quadrant. What are the rays quadrants: a. neg. theta b. Theta Pi + c. pi - theta d. pi / 2 - theta Please explain! Please help! I have no idea where to start. Homework is due tomorrow and I am scheduled to meet with a tutor tomorrow if I can learn this stuff.
1 a tan use) - = @ (sin (- Cos)) / ((- @)) = (-sin @) / (cos @) because (cos @) = cos (- @) and ((-@)) = sin-sin @ if you get -4 Almost all issues you may be solved with simarly identities. If you have more questions send me an e-mail to my name is Dray black68widow@hotmail.com
