I want to make a sweater, can not find affordable son ...?

I want to make the bodice "simple knitted" sweater featured in stitchdivastudios.com. They recommend Tilli Tomas son, pure and simple "(a worsted / heavy weight of wool Aran Silk 100%). I can not $ 40 per Skien! They have alternates, all still a bit too expensive. I wan't something that is fun to work up (feeling good), some sustainability course gauge, but the only thing in all that I found so far lacking is a great colorway. I want some Grebe stripey thing or not solid. A Nice colorway sophisticated, not too bright. Preferably something hand-dyed-looking, and under $ 6.50 a skein. Or at least a reasonable retail price and easy to find very cheap on ebay. Ideas?

I know this is not the type that you are looking for. Red Heart yarn is available in many colors, but it is acrylic. And once you block wet your work knitting, This Yarn is much softer and little thinner than when you start. A skein of 46 oz is $ 5 at Walmart. And it has also dropped in several different colors. Over there son is also softer and yet in many colors at Walmart and still cheap.
