What color do I paint a small room with blue-gray carpet and Dark Brown cabinets?

It's a fair open to the kitchen which has a dark gray soil.

Gosh, What a choice. I guess a soft yellow. I have blue-gray carpet and I do not like not. I bought a large rug to cover most of it. If you're not a male, you can try something soft in the lavender shade. It might work. Do not worry cabinets. Try to put some rugs (large) with different shades in them, and it brings more color piece.
