Line Ribbon

Does anyone know of a web page with instructions on how to make a woven box / basket with paper tape Twist?

The Paper Twist Ribbon is woven around a box with a tissue or wrapping paper liner. Ideal for the packages with little care! But I do Can not find an instruction sheet projects to share with my group. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I make these. (You mean something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/COUNTRY-DECOR-PAPER-TWIST-BASKET-Blue-Beige-NEW_W0QQitemZ110036030992QQihZ001QQcategoryZ71185QQcmdZViewItem right?) I do not know of any models online, but I'll tell you what I do. Use a paper bag for your "shell" - just cut the paper bag the height you want your basket to be. Choose your colors of raffia rope (rope paper - http://lanling.biz/papers/ribbonar41.htm). I measure (free) lengths that I need, then cut the strips before untie the rope of paper. You only need one bit for about every 1.5-2 cm on the side the paper bag. For example, if you use a little brown bag lunch, you'll probably need about 3 strands to the long side and 2 for the short side. The strands should reach the interior of an edge towards the bottom of the bag, the edge distance. When you untwist, they will be a tad bit more, but you can use to secure the flap. It's good to have a little left - you can glue in the heart and it will give the cart more stable. You'll also need about 2 bits (for small bags) which completely encircle the bag. Ok, if you use the craft glue, you will need a some type of clips or clothespins to hold the strands until they dry. If you use hot glue, you should not have claws whatsoever. You glue about an inch from the first strand (untwisted) inside the bag. Flush it up against the corner. Now glue the strands next next to him and the third component next to that (if you do the small bag, which should reach the other corner, I think). Fold the three flaps on the edge of the bag so they are now pointing downwards. Now go to the short end of the bag. Two strands of glue at the short end so they wrap around the bag to the horizontal. You'll build your in these three areas. It is best to stick to your left (as you look on the bag with the three components facing you). I try to paste about 1 / 4 of the way to the edge angle. If you paste them directly in the middle of the edge (where there is a wrinkle in the bag), you will have some trouble in the end. You can go ahead and glue all the vertical strips around top of the bag. Now, begin to weave. Hold the first horizontal component down and wrap it around the corner from the bag. Then take the first vertical component and place it on the horizontal component. Now, take the blade horizontal to the next vertical pane, then under the third component. You may want to place a point of sticking to certain places you progress. Once you start, it will be easy. It's just over / under / over / under, etc. (basic model: http://www.beuniqueinc.com/418PinkBasket2.jpg). Continue until all the strands are woven. Glue in appropriate locations to hold the strands. The vertical son should all be completed by Inside the basket. Do not worry about how they look, you'll finish off the interior. Now, to create a handle if you want. Loosely measure three strands of rope paper for them to go to the bottom of the bag, creating a broad basket handle and more important to reach the bag again. Cut three pieces (see photo above - the basket blue country - to see what the handle should look like). Untwist the rope of paper. Paste the three pieces together (one on the other) from the bottom of the bag to the top of the bag (and sticking to the bag (inside). Now, Start braiding the three pieces. Do not braid tight, you want them to have a certain fullness. Braid until you have woven enough to handle the size you want. Then, other parts of glue strands together (like when you started) and attach them to the other (inside) side of the bag. You may have to trim a bit as you untwisted and they would have more time after untwisting. Now you can paste lace around the top if you want. Just stick it inside the bag. You can finish the interior with a cloth or more paper rope. I always used paper string. You do not spin inside. You just measure and cut your rope paper (I always used color for the interior). You put two strands along the entire length of the bag (covering the sides and bottom of the bag. Then you put three across the width sides (cover and bottom again). Can you use 2 strands that run horizontally on the sides (inside the bag). It covers where we finished the other parts. That's it! :) If you use a full-sized brown grocery bag for that, you can adjust the rollers Toilet paper baskets in the final. They make nice gifts. In addition, another thing to do with string of paper: Get a test. Wrap wire around the middle even to make a hanger "or you can put hooks image" at each end. Pick 2 colors of raffia. Reduce by 12 inches long and untwisting. You will need 12 strands. Strands of the loop in half (do not fold) and glue on the test at regular intervals. You are the bonding 6 "" loops "on the test. The loops should point horizontally (the same direction as the criterion) does not point the loop down or anything. Start the middle and loops on each side should point outward toward the end of the standard. Each side must be symmetrical. You can color substitution. I tried to find a pic of something similar online but no luck. You will also need to create a bow collar (http://www.ribbondeals.com/ribbon_uses.cfm) for the center. It should be about 10-12 inches in diameter when completed. You can stick flowers in the center of it if you wish. Here's a little witch you can too: http://crafterscommunity.com/view/119/Twisted_Paper_Witch Here is something a little more difficult http://crafterscommunity.com/view/115/Follow_the_pattern_for_flower_glue_together_6_purple_ (P) _6_inch_marquises .. html I can not believe this kind of craft really have no presence on the net! Good luck and write me if I you need clarification. :)
